Introduction to Small Animal Acupressure takes you through the entire canine acupressure protocol along with the concepts and theories of Chinese medicine. People will learn Yin-Yang Theory, Meridian Theory, Assessment Techniques and how to select acupressure points. The class includes demonstrations and extensive hands-on exercises with dogs.

Acupressure is safe, noninvasive and an extremely powerful ancient healing art. Acupressure offers your animalís optimal health by resolving physical and emotional canine and feline issues such as digestion problems, allergies, fearful behavior, skin issues, and much more. This course is perfect for dog & cat guardians, trainers, and healthcare practitioners. People will learn the basic protocol for a complete acupressure session, the Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts underlying acupressure, hands-on techniques, and how to begin to develop your own treatment plan using specific acupressure points.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient hands-on Art for energizing the body, mind and spirit. Jin Shin Jyutsu for Your Animal Companion is a direct outgrowth of Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) as practiced by thousands of people who receive sessions and use daily self-help. Over the past decade, Adele Leas has pioneered this work and made it applicable for domesticated animals., Dogs, cats and horses along with other animals have an innate understanding of this non-verbal Art. During class you will explore the 26 Safety Energy Locks (building blocks of the body) and several major flows and "Quickies" for harmonizing body, mind and spirit.

You will first learn to apply the work to yourself, allowing you to become more centered and open to sharing with your animal. This will also give you firsthand experience about what he will feel when receiving sessions from you. You will soon move confidently to sharing this work with your animal.. The classes also cover topics such as creating a physically and emotionally safe environment, how to approach and make approach and make and make gentle contact with different species, reading animal body language, and basics of intuitive communication.
